How much fur / ashes do I need to provide?

For larger keyring shapes, about a tablespoon of fur, hair or ash is required. For smaller pendants & charms around a teaspoon. All remains are handled with the utmost care & ALL unused amounts will be returned in the same way they were received alongside your completed keepsakes.

I don’t have clean clip of fur, can I still have a keepsake?

Sometimes the loss of a fur-baby is unplanned & they don’t always give us the pleasure of one last bath or clip. For small animals, dirty or shedded fur pulled from the couch will be just as effective as a fresh bath. For horse tails/ mane or particularly long coats cleaning will be provided at no extra cost if we feel it necessary for the best results.

How do I get my fur/ ashes to you?

If you are local to the Shoalhaven we provide a collection/ drop off service to your home or nominated Vet clinic for a small delivery fee. If you are outside of the Shoalhaven, we recommend sending via a tracked letter or parcel with AusPost.

How do I know my fur/ ashes have arrived safely?

As soon as fur arrives to me, you will receive an email to let you know it has been received & if there will be any processing delays. If you have posted your fur / ashes using tracked postage, you will also be able to follow its arrival through the Auspost website.

How long will my Keepsake take to make?

The making process takes 3 business days to allow resin to set & then have any finishings (sterling silver cores/ keychains/ leather tags etc) added ready to return. As soon as fur arrives to me, you will receive an email to let you know it has been received & if there will be any processing delays. On day 3 you will receive a delivery time for the following day OR on day 4 you will receive postal tracking information.

Can I have personalised text on my keepsake?

Yes! Simply add the text you wish to have in the “Additional notes” section at check out & if there are any adjustments needed we will be in touch.
